GAME #6: Phoenix Suns 99, Portland Trailblazers 90

The Blazers only shot 38% from the floor last night and it did them in. Martell Webster led the way for the Trailblazers off the bench last night with 19 points, 4 rebounds and 2 assists. LaMarcus Aldridge only shot 5 of 17 from the floor but he still finished up with 16 points, 9 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals and 5 blocked shots. Rudy Fernandez pitched in with 16 points, 2 rebounds and 1 assist in only 18 minutes off the bench. Brandon Roy (14 points) and Jerryd Bayless (12 points) both pitched in offensively in this game. The Trailblazers showed a lot of heart in this series before bowing out 4 games to 2 to the Suns.

GAME #5: Phoenix Suns 107, Portland Trailblazers 88

The Trailblazers got outrebounded 41-29 last night and it killed them on the scoreboard. Andre Miller led the way for the Blazers with 21 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists last night. LaMarcus Aldridge (17 points, 2 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals) and Jerryd Bayless (17 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists) helped out last night offensively for the Blazers. Dante Cunningham scored 11 points, grabbed 2 rebounds and he had 2 steals in only 12 minutes off the bench in this game. The Blazers are now down 3-2 in this series as they now have their backs against the wall.

GAME #4: Portland Trailblazers 96, Phoenix Suns 87

The Blazers outscored the Suns 22-15 in the 4th quarter and they outrebounded the Suns 45-39 as they appeared to want this win more. LaMarcus Aldridge had a monster game for the Blazers with 31 points, 11 rebounds and 3 assists. Andre Miller only was 4 of 13 shooting from the floor but he still helped out with 15 points, 6 rebounds, 8 assists and 2 steals. Jerryd Bayless (11 points, 2 rebounds and 6 assists) and Nicolas Batum (10 points and 7 rebounds) both pitched in with solid games last night. Brandon Roy returned to action last night and he provided a nice spark off the bench with 10 points, 1 rebound and 1 assist in 27 minutes. The Trailblazers have tied up this series at 2 games apiece making it now a best out of three series.

GAME #3: Phoenix Suns 108, Portland Trailblazers 89

The Trailblazers never had a chance last night as the Suns shot 52.9% from the floor and they led the game 66-37 at the half. The Blazers just couldn’t stop Jason Richardson who dropped 42 points on them last night. LaMarcus Aldridge led the way for the Trailblazers last night with 17 points, 7 rebounds and 2 blocked shots. Martell Webster played 38 minutes off the bench as he finished up with 14 points, 8 rebounds and 4 steals last night. Jerryd Bayless had a solid game mostly in garbage time as he finished up with 14 points, 2 rebounds and 4 assists in 29 minutes. Rudy Fernandez (12 points) and Andre Miller (11 points) pitched in offensively for the Blazers last night. The Trailblazers are now down 2-1 in this series and they have been downright horrible in the last two games.

GAME #2: Phoenix Suns 119, Portland Trailblazers 90

The Blazers got pushed around last night by the Suns who shot 52.3% from the floor and they outrebounded the Blazers 43-34. Martell Webster led the way for the Blazers with 16 points and 5 rebounds off the bench. Nicolas Batum (12 points, 3 rebounds) and LaMarcus Aldridge (11 points, 4 rebounds and 3 blocked shots) just didn’t have good games last night especially in the paint. Andre Miller came crashing back to Earth last night with 12 points, 1 rebound and 3 assists. The Trailblazers will come home to Portland this weekend with a 1-1 record.
