The Trailblazers were outrebounded 49-37 last night and it cost them in this game. Andre Miller (18 points, 1 rebound and 7 assists) and Gerald Wallace (16 points, 9 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals and 2 blocked shots) led the way for the Blazers yesterday. LaMarcus Aldridge (12 points, 9 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals and 2 blocked shots) and Nicolas Batum (12 points, 4 rebounds, 2 steals and 2 blocked shots) also pitched in for the Blazers last night. The Blazers are now down 3-2 in this series.

Game #4: Portland Trailblazers 84, Dallas Mavericks 82

The Trailblazers were down 67-44 at one point in the 4th quarter last night before finally coming alive. The Blazers outscored the Mavericks 35-15 in the 4th quarter to surge to a most impressive home win last night. Brandon Roy was amazing for the Blazers last night as he hit the eventual game winning shot as he finished up with 24 points, 4 rebounds and 5 assists in only 24 minutes on the floor. LaMarcus Aldridge also had a outstanding game as he filled up the stat sheet with 18 points, 6 rebounds, 1 assist, 4 steals and 3 blocked shots. Andre Miller (14 points, 3 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 steal), Gerald Wallace (10 points, 11 rebounds and 3 assists) and Wesley Matthews (11 points, 1 rebound, 2 assists and 1 steal) also pitched in for the Blazers last night. The Blazers have tied up the series with the Mavericks at 2 games apiece.

Game #3: Portland Trailblazers 97, Dallas Mavericks 92

The Portland Trailblazers seem like they were lifted up by the crowd last night as they dug deep to hold off the Mavericks last night. Wesley Matthews had a rough time in the first two games of this series but he was on fire last night. Matthews led the way for the Blazers last night with 25 points, 2 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals. LaMarcus Aldridge filled up the stat sheet last night with 20 points, 4 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal and 1 blocked shot. Andre Miller (16 points, 2 rebounds and 7 assists) and Brandon Roy (16 points, 1 rebound, 4 assists and 1 steal in 24 minutes on the floor) also pitched in with solid game. The Trailblazers are still down 2-1 in this series, but, they showed last night that they can indeed win this series.

LaMarcus Aldridge is having a great start against the Dallas Mavericks

Power forward LaMarcus Aldridge is off to a great start against the Mavericks in the first round playoff series for the Blazers.  Aldridge has played in 2 games (both starts) for the Trailblazers so far in this series and he is averaging 42.0 minutes, 25.5 points, 8.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 2.0 blocked shots per game.  His success should come as no surprise as he had the best season of his NBA career in 2010-11 for the Blazers.

Game #2: Dallas Mavericks 101, Portland Trailblazers 89

The Trailblazers were in this game until the 4th quarter when the Mavericks outscored them 28-17 to pull away.  LaMarcus Aldridge led the way for the Blazers in this game with 24 points, 10 rebounds, 2 assists and 3 blocked shots.  Gerald Wallace (18 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists) and Andre Miller (18 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists) also had solid games for the Blazers last night.  Wesley Matthews (13 points) and Nicolas Batum (10 points) also pitched in for the Blazers last night.  The Trailblazers are now down 2-0 in this series as it shifts to Portland for the weekend.
