LaMarcus Aldridge is stepping up for the Portland Trailblazers

The Blazers were pretty confident that LaMarcus Aldridge could handle the starting job at power forward and that’s part of the reason for the Zach Randolph trade of the off-season. Aldridge is making the Blazers look good as he has played very well so far this season. Aldridge has played in 15 games this season and he has averaged 33.7 minutes, 18.8 minutes, 7.7 rebounds and 0.7 assists per game. He also has shot the ball very well so far this season as he has made 53.2% of his shots from the floor and 76.8% of his free throws.

Denver Nuggets 110, Portland Trailblazers 93

The Blazers only shot 39% from the floor and they allowed the Nuggets to shoot 52.5% last night which explains how the Blazers lost this game by 17 points. LaMarcus Aldridge led the way for the Blazers with 15 points and 10 rebounds. Jarrett Jack had another solid game off of the bench with 13 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals. Martell Webster was active with 12 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Travis Outlaw also had a decent game with 12 points, 3 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals. The Blazers are now 4-4 on the season.

Portland Trailblazers 102, Detroit Pistons 94

The Blazers stepped up big time in the 4th quarter of this game as they outscored the Pistons 28-20 in the 4th quarter to win the game. The Blazers also shot a scorching 54.8% from the floor in this game which was another key to victory. LaMarcus Aldridge led the way for the Blazers with 22 points and 10 rebounds. Brandon Roy (20 points, 3 rebounds) and Jarrett Jack (20 points, 4 assists) both also had big games for the Blazers. The Blazers are now 4-3 on the season.

The Trailblazers hit 50% from the floor and they held the Mavs to 35.4% shooting and those were the big factors in this victory. Brandon Roy led the way for the Blazers with 32 points and 7 assists. LaMarcus Aldridge also had a solid game with 18 points and 8 rebounds. Travis Outlaw was busy in this game with 14 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. The Blazers are now 3-3 on the season.

The Trailblazers shot 51.2% from the floor in this game and they outscored the Grizzlies 61-37 in the second half to run away with this game. LaMarcus Aldridge led the way for the Blazers with 30 points, 10 rebounds, 3 steals and 3 blocked shots. Brandon Roy also had a really good game with 22 points, 4 rebounds, 8 assists and 2 steals. Jarrett Jack had another good game as he’s trying to get his job back. He scored 21 points, grabbed 5 rebounds, dished out 4 assists and stole the ball twice. The Blazers are now 2-3 on the season.
