It would have even been younger if Greg Oden was healthy. With Oden out for the season the Blazers are turning to Joel Przybilla as the starter at center. He played in 43 games (all starts) last season for the Blazers and he averaged 16.2 minutes, 2.0 points, 3.9 rebounds, 0.3 assists and 1.6 blocked shots per game. Jarrett Jack will be the starting point guard against this season as he will try to follow up on a strong year in 2006-07. Jack played in 79 games (all starts) last season for the Blazers and he averaged 33.4 minutes, 12.0 points, 2.6 rebounds, 5.3 assists and 1.1 steals per game. Brandon Roy will also try to build on his strong rookie season which won him the Rookie of the Year Award. Roy played in 57 games (55 starts) last season for the Blazers and he averaged 35.4 minutes, 16.8 points, 4.4 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 1.2 steals per game. Martell Webster won the starting small forward job for the Blazers this season but he’ll likely split time with Travis Outlaw there. Webster played in 82 games (27 starts) last season for the Blazers and he averaged 21.3 minutes, 7.0 points, 2.9 rebounds and 0.6 assists per game. LaMarcus Aldridge will likely be an impact player for the Blazers this season as he will have the full-time starting job at power forward. Aldridge played in 63 games (22 starts) last season for the Blazers and he averaged 22.1 minutes, 9.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, 0.4 assists and 1.2 blocks per game. Look for those numbers to double this season with the added playing time.
