Travis Outlaw will split time at small forward with Martell Webster but he will be coming off of the bench. Forward Channing Frye was acquired in the Zach Randolph trade with the Knicks and he will get a lot of playing time this season. James Jones was acquired from the Suns in the off-season and he will serve as the backup shooting guard on the Blazers this season. Veteran Raef LaFrentz will be the backup center this season and he has some upside as he’s a good outside shooter. LaFrentz played in 27 games (9 starts) with the Blazers last season and he averaged 13.1 minutes, 3.7 points, 2.6 rebounds and 0.3 assists per game. Sergio “Spanish Chocolate” Rodriguez will be the #3 point guard for the Blazers this year. He played in 67 games (1 start) last season for the Blazers and he averaged 12.9 minutes, 3.7 points, 1.4 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game.
