Young team blazing their way towards a respectable season

Many experts thought the Trailblazers would be one of the worst teams in the NBA this season, but they’ve been wrong.  The Trailblazers are not a good team yet as their 22-32 record shows, but, they are only 4 games out of the playoffs right now.  Zach Randolph has taken his game to a new level and he’s been the leader on the floor for the young Blazers.  Brandon Roy would be the Rookie of the Year if the vote was today.  He has a similar skill set to Dwyane Wade at the same age.  Point guard Jarrett Jack has really improved in his second season in the NBA.  Watch out for the Trailblazers, they might be young but they are going to be real good soon.  They have been drafting excellent the last few years and that will pay off when the kids get a little bit more experience.

“Agent Zero” Gilbert Arenas was bragging about how he was going to drop 50 points on the Blazers yesterday….so the Blazers ganged up on him and held him to 3 of 15 shooting from the floor and to only 9 points in the game!  The Blazers also stuffed the rest of the Wizards as they held them to 38% shooting from the floor!  LeMarcus Aldridge led the way for the Blazers with 18 points and 10 rebounds.  Jarrett Jack did a solid job of running the show last night as he wound up with 18 points, 3 rebounds and 5 assists.
