The Blazers had a great time in NJ on Saturday night and improved their record to 5-6 on the season.

Blogged under Front Page by Nothing but Net on Saturday 18 November 2006 at 1:06 am

The Blazers forgot how to play defense last night as the Celtics hit 51.3% of their shots as a team.  Zach Randolph continued to play fine ball with 23 points & 12 rebounds.  Ime Udoka had a decent game with 14 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists.  LeMarcus Aldridge got the start at center and scored 12 points and grabbed 5 rebounds.  Jarrett Jack only scored 8 points, but he got 5 rebounds and 8 assists.  Juan Dixon (11 points) and Travis Outlaw (10 points, 4 rebounds) each provided help off the bench.

The Blazers are in a free fall as they now are 4-6 on the season.

Blazers fall again on road to Cavs 100-87

Blogged under Front Page by Nothing but Net on Wednesday 15 November 2006 at 10:02 pm

The Blazers played hard in the first half, but wore down on their second night of a back to backer after losing last night in Minnesota.  Zach Randolph continued his fine play this season with 26 points & 11 rebounds.  The bench gave the Blazers great energy an kept them in the game.  Travis Outlaw (16 points, 2 blocks), Juan Dixon (14 points) and LeMarcus Aldridge (13 points, 8 rebounds and 3 steals) all came off the bench and played well.

The Blazers are getting quality play off the bench, now they need some of their starters to produce.  The Blazers have fallen to 4-5 of the season.

Blazers flat in 101-89 loss to T-Wolves

Blogged under Front Page by Nothing but Net on Wednesday 15 November 2006 at 3:56 pm

It looked as if the Blazers didn’t know they had a game last night.  The Wolves shot 48.7% from the floor, and out-rebounded the Blazers 50-31 last night.  Hard to win that way.

Zach Randolph is turning into one of the best power forwards in the NBA, and he scored 26 points & grabbed 9 rebounds last night.  Juan Dixon scored 15 points off of the bench in only 20 minutes on the court.  Stephen Graham also played hard off of the bench with 9 points & 8 rebounds.

The young Blazers need to play hard every night and hopefully they will learn that soon.  The Blazers fell to 4-4 with the loss last night.

Blogged under Front Page, Injuries by Nothing but Net on Tuesday 14 November 2006 at 9:16 pm

Darius Miles had more surgery on his right knee and will miss the remainder of the season.  The Blazers will need Travis Outlaw and Martell Webster to pick up the slack.
