Small Forwards
Darius Miles will be the started when he gets back from his knee injury. Miles is a great open-court player that has the skills to be a much better player than he is. Miles has averaged 10.7 points, 5.2 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 0.9 steals and 1.2 blocks per game over his career. He has the potential to be a much better player than he is.
Martell Webster had a decent rookie season for a player that is so young. For a player with Webster’s athletic ability, the sky is the limit if he matures as a player. Webster is a good three point shooter (35.7% as a rookie) that helps spread the defense out when he’s on the court. Webster averaged 6.6 points & 2.1 rebounds in his rookie year, and those numbers will improve with experience and more playing time.
Travis Outlaw also is a very active, young player. Outlaw has averaged 5.4 points & 2.3 rebounds per game over his two-year career. Those numbers will improve with the increased playing time he should get this season.
